A follow-up on the planner designed in Twenty O’Eight. From cover to cover, every space is utilised: 365 days at a glance on the cover; Holidays fill the spine; The ends are made up of flexible slots – to hold receipts, cards or a note – a printed protractor and paper sizes. Inside, there's monthly, weekly and daily calendars along with spreads of page-plan, gantt chart, pie and bar grid and blank pages on different stocks. The typeface is a modification of ITC Avant Garde based on the theme of layers representing each letter, the planner’s breathing space comes from the decision to use only one colour throughout. Produced entirely out of paper, The Handburger's identity forms a visual commentary on the food's transformative process, highlighting the artistry of making a good burger. Paper-crafting every ingredient allows each to be distilled to its basic shape, creating an identity system that is visually appealing and instantly recognisable. Its many seemingly disparate but harmonised elements are held together by a set of custom alphabets, constructed letter by letter to give The Handburger a fitting personality. Identity and name card design for our best looking client, Sarah Davies: TV Presenter slash Master of Ceremonies slash Ambassador slash Model. www.id-mag.com/annualdesignreview2009 The brief from LHN Group is to create two calendars: an english and a chinese version. Our solution combines both into one, and the result is a dual-purpose desktop and wall calendar with a double cover. The chinese version on one side is designed to replicate the traditional chinese calendar. The english side looks and feels the opposite. The coloured tabs (which also represent the secondary graphics of LHN Group's brand) serve as easy reference, and form a layered composition of both languages. The Design for Enterprises logo is a geometric interplay of form and pattern. By reassembling and rotating the six square faces of the cube, new icons and identifiers representing programmes as well as a set of alphabet are constructed. The same hexagonal unit tessellates to create a series of visually confusing secondary graphics. The branding project includes the design of various communication tools, graphics for a physical space and an information kit. Sign for Simply Bread's new shop at Cluny Court.
